From a library of wisdom to a place of healing — and why I'm so grateful
"I believe healing begins with gratitude. My hands are simply borrowed tools — the real wisdom comes from above. Being a conduit is the greatest honor I know."
I want to share something from the heart today — because what happens inside these walls deserves to be said out loud.
A lineage of healing
My husband's great-grandfather was a revered Korean medicine doctor — the kind people sought out in the middle of the night when no one else could help. He had a rare gift for herbal prescriptions that saved lives. That knowledge was never formally passed down. But the spirit of it? I carry that forward every single day.
Right now, my son is training to become both a chiropractor and a Korean medicine practitioner. Between a healer of the past and a healer of the future — I get to stand in the middle, holding the thread. That is not something I take lightly.
This space
Our clinic lives in a building called the Old Library. For years, this space held the wisdom and knowledge of an entire community. The energy of countless books, minds, and seekers still lives here — I feel it.
Now, instead of storing wisdom, this space creates it. Healing happens where learning once did. That feels right to me in a way that's hard to put into words.
Good location. Quiet. Spacious. Easy parking. Warmly designed. And somehow — this was given to me. I still marvel at that.
To everyone who walks through this door: my deepest hope is that you find real comfort here. The relief you've been looking for. A moment of true rest.
You are the real healer in this story. I'm just here to hold the space.
Balance starts here — right now, in this moment. Thank you for being part of this journey.
